Bar Ilan Software Support - What's New in Responsa 17.0

 

 

 

The new features in the Bar Ilan Responsa Project 17.0 include:

•    An encyclopedia of Talmudic concepts, biographies of Talmudic sages, lists of teachers and students of Talmudic sages, and an encyclopedia of holiday customs
•    Option to bookmark texts in text windows and in expanded display windows
•    Option to automatically search for abbreviations
•    Option to display selected commentaries on texts
•    Option to change the margins and line spacing of texts in the Bar Ilan Responsa windows
•    Option to change the order in which saved searches are displayed on screen
•    Option to highlight all results when searching for text in text windows and expanded display windows
•    Option to select books and databases from which hyperli nked texts (cross-references) are displayed
•    Print preview option
•    Option to simplify reporting mistakes in the Responsa Project texts
•    Additional search options when performing simple searches
•    Option to include personal notes in note windows and windows containing pictures
